Why should my child play an instrument?
Studies have shown that children who play an instrument for 2 years score better in science and math and score higher on standardized tests and college entrance exams. AND, playing an instrument is a great way to meet other people.

Do I need my own instrument?
Yes. It is important that your child have his or her own instrument as daily practice is a crucial part of learning to play. We can help you decide if purchasing or renting an instrument is the best choice for you.

Where can I get an instrument?
We have instruments available for rent or purchase. Ask us if you need an instrument.

When are fees paid?
Fees are paid monthly 10 days prior to the start of the month. There no long term contracts, but you are obligated to one month at a time. There are no credits or refunds for missed lessons.

Is it OK to miss a week?
We understand that life happens and that occasionally a student may miss a lesson. However, weekly lessons along with regular practice is necessary to make progress. Refer to the Make-Up Policy.

How often should my child practice?
Regular practice at least 5 days a week is necessary for the mind and body to learn the rigors of instrumental playing.

What is the make-up policy?
You are guaranteed 1 make-up lesson per quarter. I require at least 24 hours notice for missed lessons. There are no make-ups for missed lessons with no prior notice. There are no make-ups for missed make-up lessons.
